Eligibility & History

The 1914 Star was authorised in April 1917 for personnel who served in France or Belgium between 5 August 1914 and 22/23 November 1914, either on the strength of a unit or in direct support of those operations. Recipients of the 1914 Star were not eligible for the 1914–15 Star.

Each medal is professionally mounted by hand using Toye Kenning & Spencer ribbon and high-grade fittings for a museum-quality presentation.
